“For every child who has ever dreamed big, this is for you”. My image ‘Everyone Can Reach the Stars’ is a digital illustration I created to inspire young girls to believe that anything is possible—that even reaching the moon is not too big a dream. The piece began with a photograph I took of an astronaut suit at a museum. From there, I added a portrait of 12-year-old Mira, placing her face inside the suit, imagining her as the first child astronaut. Finally, I included a scene of two girls eagerly reading a newspaper, celebrating Mira’s groundbreaking trip to the moon. It’s a visual reminder that no dream is out of reach. This image earned a 7th place in the Digital Illustrations category at this year’s Swedish Photography Championships, receiving a merit in the digital competition. Below is a piece from the article: “The young girl, who through an international space effort has become a symbol of future explorers, landed safety on the surface of the moon earlier today. Her feat marks a groundbreaking moment for both space exploration and gender equality, inspiring young people and young people around the world to aim for the stars. 12-year-old Mira Johansson from Sweden, who has always had a passion for space, was selected from among thousands applicants to participate in this historic mission. With the support of her family and a host of experts, she has undergone intensive training over the past two years. Her tenacity, intelligence and courage have made her a role model for young girls around the world. “I’ve always dreamed of exploring the space, and now I’m here, ready to make history”. The international space venture, a collaboration between several space agencies, including NASA, ESA and Roscosmos launched Mira and her team from The Kennedy Space Center three days ago. Mira, wearing her specially adapted spacesuit, was the first to exit the craft. 6:e plats i SM i kategori gravid i SM i fotografi! Tack kajsadys för att jag fick fota dig och för bästa teamwork kring denna bild, du är en stjärna. 🌟 Bilden ”Kicking” tog jag på Kajsa i vintras. Mitt under fotograferingen började bebisen sparka så att hela magen rörde på sig. Jag gillade verkligen hur Kajsa reagerade på sparkarna, vilket jag tyckte gav den där fantastiska känslan av liv och glädje. ”Kicking” fick 81 poäng i digitala kvalet, ”Merit” som innebär ”hög tävlingskvalitet” och sedan 78 och 4/5 poäng i printfinalen vilket innebär ”god tävlingskvalitet”. Bilden fick i finalen slutligen denna fantastiska 6:e plats. Jag har också börjat ideellt i SM-gruppen som arbetar med allt kring SM (allt utom arbete kring jureringen då det är separerat) och vilket fantastiskt teamwork det varit! Är helt tagen av allt som görs bakom kulisserna. Det har varit sååå fantastiskt roligt! Missa inte denna dokumentär! Jag filmade artisten maiahirasawa i Japan för 10 år sedan. Följde henne i cirka 3 veckor - under perioden då hon var som störst i Japan. Följde med in på tv-stationer, under intervjuer med media och pratade med henne och andra runt omkring. Delar som nu är med i denna dokumentär av Jonatan Järbel jonatanjarbel, producerad av Daniel Skogström, Faktabruket faktabruket. Sänds på SVT 2 mars och finns att se på SVT Play från 1 mars. Missa inte detta 😍. I filmed the Swedish artist Maia Hirasawa 10 years ago in Japan from the period when she was at her peak there. The ballet skirt! Johanna in the picture has made it all by herself. Solid handwork. With steel wire and with several layers of tulle - many meters were used. A ring in steel wire that helps hold the skirt up. Corset top. I am very impressed. It is clearly Johanna who made the picture. Then I got the opportunity to play with light and camera to illustrate the real textile ballerina.
